2. Data we collect

At registration: full name, email address, phone number and password (stored as a hash, never as plain text). When you complete your profile: identity card (IC) or passport number, date of birth, gender, address, emergency contact and educational background. While using the portal: program applications, attendance and, once the payment module opens, invoice and payment records.

3. Purpose of collection

Your data is used to manage your account and verify your identity, process program applications, record attendance, issue invoices and receive payments, send emails about your account and applications, and meet legal obligations. It is not used for marketing without your consent.

4. Disclosure to others

Authorised staff and instructors can access your data only as far as necessary. We use service providers (application and database hosting, email delivery and, when opened, a payment gateway) who process data on our behalf. Data is never sold. It may be disclosed where required by law or by the authorities.

5. Security and retention

Your IC or passport number is encrypted in the database and only partly displayed to users. Data is kept while your account is active and afterwards only for as long as needed for academic, financial and legal records, then deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

You may request access to your personal data, ask for inaccurate data to be corrected, and withdraw your consent (which may limit the services we can provide). You can update your own profile in the portal.

7. Cookies and ad tracking

When you visit the site, Meta may receive visit information such as the pages you view, clicks on the WhatsApp button and Contact form submissions, together with information about your browser. Meta processes this information under its own privacy policy. You can control the ads you see through the ad settings of your Facebook or Instagram account, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser. Meta Pixel is not loaded in the student portal.
